    Elaine Apthorp is a truly remarkable teacher, writer, reader and mentor. She offers heartful coaching, developmental editing and copyediting. Working closely with the writer and the writing, her mission is to comprehend, appreciate, and nurture the project and the creative soul who is choosing to engage in it; help a comrade writer discover and achieve their intentions on the page; find out what the writer means to do and offer suggestions about choices one might make that could further those objectives.

  • One-on-One Coaching with Nerissa Nields

    Nerissa works with writers at every stage of the creative process, from brainstorming ideas, to helping the writer develop a sustainable practice, to coaching writers around emotional blocks, to making suggestions for publication and placement of individual projects. She has written in many genres, including non-fiction, poetry, plays, songwriting, blogging, essays, short stories, nonfiction books and novels. She can help with outlining, story arc, structure and the messy middle. Along the way, she will suggest craft exercises and recommend books and articles.Read more

    $25.00     On Tuesday evenings, from 6-7:30pm Eastern time, Little Blue Studio as well as the Writing It Up in the Garden  Zoom room, will be open for all members of Nerissa's writing groups and Substack subscribers. Format: 6pm prompt, followed by silent writing.  At 7pm, a short reading by members of Morning Seeding & Tending.
